The Biggest AI Myth in Real Estate

One of the questions I hear most often from Realtors is:

"Ron, is AI going to replace real estate agents?"

It's a fair question.

After all, AI can write listing descriptions, generate social media content, summarize market reports, answer questions, and help automate tasks that used to take hours.

When you look at everything AI can do, it's easy to wonder where Realtors fit into the picture.

But here's what I believe:

AI is not replacing great realtors. It's replacing Realtors who refuse to adapt.

The truth is that the value of a realtor has never been access to information. Buyers and sellers already have more information available to them than at any point in history. They can search listings, research neighborhoods, watch market updates, and even ask AI tools real estate questions.

What they can't get from AI is judgment.

AI can analyze data, but it doesn't know the neighborhood the way you do. It doesn't understand the local market dynamics that never show up in a report. It can't read a room during a negotiation or recognize when a client is about to make an emotional decision they'll regret later.

That's where your value comes from. The realtors who are thriving with AI aren't using it as a replacement. They're using it as an assistant. They're communicating more effectively, creating better marketing, staying more consistent, and spending more time on the human side of the business.

And that's exactly where the opportunity is.

In this short video, I break down why AI isn't replacing Realtors and why the agents who learn to use it effectively will have a significant advantage in the years ahead.

Watch the video below and let me know what you think.

The future belongs to Realtors who combine technology with expertise, experience, and trust. AI can help you do more, but your clients still need you to help them make the right decisions.

If your office is having these conversations about AI (and most are), I'd love to help. My goal isn't to teach agents how to replace what makes them valuable. It's to show them how to use AI to strengthen it.

Bring me into your office, brokerage meeting, or event, and let's explore what AI can realistically do for your business, your agents, and your clients.
